I was born in Cinco Saltos, a cozy little city up in northern Patagonia. It's a place with a cool geological backstory, tons of apple and pear trees, and loads of charm. Growing up, I was surrounded by these ancient rock formations from the Cretaceous and Paleogene periods in the Neuquén Basin. It probably sparked my curiosity for rocks. As a kid, my grandpa and I used to go on these "dinosaur hunts" in the gullies around town (the 'bardas'). We never struck gold, but it turns out those rocks were sitting just above the K-Pg boundary. Go figure, right?

Outside the lab, I'm actively looking for ways to apply my scientific background beyond academia. After years of working at the intersection of data, chemistry, and environmental change, I am drawn to roles where rigorous analytical thinking meets real-world impact, whether that's in environmental consulting, sustainability, science policy, or science communication. I have been based in Copenhagen since 2024, and I am building roots here, including learning Danish (det går fremad!). I'm fluent in Spanish and English, comfortable working across cultures, and genuinely excited about what comes next.
